The Committee on Transport and Communications upholds Adoption of the Bill on Amendments to the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Infringemennts (re Liability for Violation of Flight Safety Standards)

The Bill (Reg. No.2145) introduces amendments to the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Infringements regarding increase of fines for violation of flight safety standards. The Bill aims at securing flight safety, observance of normal behaviour and safekeeping of cargo at the aircraft.

The Committee members believe that adoption of the Law will create efficient mechanism of supervision and control over flight safety, and render extra methods for prompt reaction at the violation of air laws.
